This past weekend saw the New York — and subsequent last — stop of Dan Deacon’s curated Baltimore Round Robin Tour. Friday night saw the “Hands Night” while Saturday brought the “Feet Night”, or as ex-Parts & Labor drummer and one of my favorite music journalists Chris Weingarten put it, “Adult Night” and “Kids Night.” This is because, no matter what you’re perceptions of either night were/are, it was going to take a lot of energy to last through “Feet Night” — even without The DeathSet on the Bill.

The concept is simple; all of the bands play one song at a time, alternating between six stage set ups around the room. With all the lights killed except for the stage where the current act was performing, you never knew where the next song would be coming from. The idea was to eliminate the band hierarchy and importance of one band over another. So in honor of Dan’s community oriented tour, here is a run down of our photos from “Feet Night” in the same order they played (as we can remember them). Enjoy.
