Yesterday I made a sarcastic post poking fun at the marketing and sloganeering that has plagued the Democratic party during the past few elections. I still stand by my words, because no slogan can inspire people the way this man has. That’s why I voted Working Families.
In all seriousness, like a lot of Americans, I felt a great deal of pride and excitement last night. Not just because Will.I.Am did an interview via hologram, but because the American public stood up in record numbers and let their voice be heard in a way that hasn’t occurred in my lifetime. Everyone alive at this time will be able to recall where they were and what they were doing when Barack Obama gave this speech.
