While panther is writing their follow-up to this year’s Kill Rock Stars release, 14kt God, they plan to have enough free time to release one cover song a month for the next two years.
We’re not sure if this will diminish the amount of quality time being spent on the new record, but the first cover they are giving away for free on their blog is their version of the Bee Gees’ classic “To Love Somebody”. There’s no word on what song will be next, but the press release likes to tease us; “Next up who knows? Black Flag, Sonny Sharock, The Replacements? We’ll just have to wait and see…”
