Consider this a Tripwire exposé. Or maybe just a cheap excuse to get you to click on the story within. Either way, there are a string of connecting Tokio Hotel fan sites that made us cringe more than when we saw the clip of that guy recreating the Beyoncé video, and have left us questioning their legality.
Twin 19-year old brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel have reached immense fame since the formation of the group in 2005. This is due, in large part, to Bill’s style, charisma and his way of performing on stage. His androgynous looks and strange hairstyles have helped him reached icon status–even becoming the youngest person to be immortalized in wax at the Madame Tussauds museum in Berlin (the band hails from Germany). So while fanfic is certainly nothing new, and it isn’t too far-fetched to believe that there are some freaks that obsess over the duo, when websites blatantly hint at incest between the two twin brothers, we feel it’s taking it a bit too far.
In fact, the main websites in question–More Than Twins and Twincest, which has multiple sister sites in different countries and languages–do more than just hint. With reader “fantasies” and near-pornographic anime imagery of the two brothers in various compromising situations, these websites go well beyond the notion of a supporting fan website. Whereas some of the other sites linked–like Tokio Hotel Fiction–give a warning before entering and make “fans” register before creating or reading posts, Twincest and More Than Twins have illustrated images of the two kissing (below) as their headers, and make no attempt to warn people about the content within. With numerous illustrated and written posts on the subject, make no mistake that this is not a Tokio Hotel site, but one supporting–and solely dedicated–to the notion of incest.

Now, we know it could be argued that these sites help popularize the band beyond their status of Best New Artist at this year’s VMA’s–or to word it more appropriately, that the band probably doesn’t give much thought to sites like these. And we also know that some might interpret this post as a way to bring more attention to these websites while using their disturbing content as a way to further our own exposure, and to some extent, in both instances they would be correct. But we feel it is our moral responsibility to make everyone as uncomfortable as we were when we read the passage:
“Tom grunted as Bill pressed a light shove against his chest, sending him back against the pillows. Bill’s eyes were dark and his hair darker, shining soft and smooth in the dim light. He tossed it back, a sly smile spreading across his lips. His breath was warm across Tom’s face as he bent over and an identical smile lifted the corners of Tom’s lips as he raised his chin to touch them to Bill’s.”

this is a form of expretion dobe
hell i a writer in the malexmale gener and i think u only see the sexual part of these websites i believe that u should look into the sence of never giveing up and standing for you believe in. most of the stories are about finding true love and overcoming obsticales in 75% of them the twins aren’t even related.
these stories are more than “fantasies by fans” and your definition of “fans” is incorect behind each story is a true fan they do these things to explore their creative limits and just plain fun most times it’s to express some sort of situation they fiond themselves in or feel they are in
Conclution everyone believes what they want. suck it up. expresaion is a free right by birth of all humans as humans.

all the sites listed have warnings..
and you don’t enter a site that’s called “more than twins” if you’re
not prepared to see something more than twins-like.
and twincest is love..but like Neykko said “fiction=fantasy!!”…

Well I am not a fan of Twincest in any way. But the sites all do give warning and you know what to avoid and what not when you go into the Tokio Hotel fanfiction site. Also like Misa said you do not go into a site called “More Then Twins” that is linked to a TH site like that not knowing that it is going to be filled with Twincest. It is one of those thing that you hope that none of the Tokio Hotel members ever come across. I think that they will be disturbed and mentally scared for a very long time if not for life. But also they are of age. That is going to be the biggest fight there.

I have to disagree with Hisui Kaihane. I can’t imagine that the twins are ignorant of such insinuations, and I myself actually enjoy the idea of them stumbling across such sites. XD I like to entertain the fantasy of Bill following a story where he seduces Tom, or Tom reading a smutty oneshot of forbidden twincest love. XD I find this completely hysterical. It doesn’t mean it happens, but I can imagine… XD Now, on to serious matters. It is an unwritten law of fanfiction: Don’t like, don’t read. Most fanfiction come with warnings to encourage this rule. I seriously have to wonder what the authors of this article are doing looking up things that they clearly find disturbing, except to try to stir up trouble. We’re not hurting anyone. Let us have our fun. It’s just fantasy.

What do you expect to see when you enter a site called “Twincest”?
I’ve seen the site and I think the art is beautiful. All art expressing love is beautiful, in my opinion.
The site is about their fantasies. Fantasies are fantasies – it’s something all people have. Fantasies can be crazy, funny, and unrealistic. And that’s why they are so fun.
From the article: “…when websites blatantly hint at incest between the two twin brothers, we feel it’s taking it a bit too far.”
How can the person who wrote this not see that she or he is talking about someone else’s simple fantasies? They’re fantasies! How can that be a problem to you?
From the article: “But we feel it is our moral responsibility to make everyone as uncomfortable as we were when we read the passage:”
I’m not uncomfortable about other people’s fantasies. And I don’t find a reason why I would. Fantasies are funnny. I can laugh about them.
What I think is really weird is that some people have no problem watching people kill each other in movies or in reality, but when they see art or photos of two people kissing and expressing love they react negative.

From the article: “…when websites blatantly hint at incest between the two twin brothers, we feel it’s taking it a bit too far.”
I would also like to say that it doesn’t interest me to fantasize about incest. I just don’t see why it would be a problem to me or anyone else if other people enjoyed fantasizing about it.

Tokio Hotel does not promote or encourage this and most fans think those who promote and support Twincest are either haters or people in desperate need of therapy.
It is a just a few sick morons doing the Twincest thing and Tokio Hotel ignore the nonsense
March 19th, 2009 at 9:26 pm
I’m a TH fan and all, but… ew. I’ve never understood twincest. I’m totally fine with the guys being gay, but I highly doubt they’d ever be gay for each other. Especially not with how Tom chases skirts. LOL
I do think it’s kind of weird, though, how some fans will wet themselves (not in the “I gotta pee” type way) over the twins being together – or even with another guy in general – but if either of them got a girlfriend, they’d also be the first person to want to shoot her in the head. o_O; I mean.. either way, they’re taken. Does it make that much of a difference?
March 19th, 2009 at 9:27 pm
For one thing, the band is perfectly aware of these sites. they have been asked about it in past interviews. Secondly, fanfiction is mostly smut and insane things. i dont support twincest, but if other people like it..thats theyre business. and to agree with misa, if the name ,,more than twins” isnt enough warning…even though there is a warning page..you need to go find some common sense.
March 21st, 2009 at 6:43 am
LMAO!Are you serious? Is the media really this deperate to get Tokio Hotel back in the news that they try and say something about the fanfictions?….Uuhm, alittle hint for whoever wrote this idiotic artical lol it’s not like they don’t warn you,and also it’s not like it’s on any of the bands official websites. The websites you’re talking about are UN-official,so…it’s stupid for you to try and blame the band anyways =p

This is never easy.

Incest in fanfiction isn’t a new thing, and it isn’t exclusive to Tokio Hotel. I can think of probably ten fandoms without even thinking *hard* about it that have an incest niche.. Supernatural, for one (and a big one). Harry Potter. Twilight. Lord of the Rings. South Park. And if you’re going to force me into the realm of RPS (Real Person Slash), there’s MCR and Hanson and, God, every other band with brothers in it.
You want to squick about incest? Well, there was this one fic I stumbled on once where Lucius Malfoy killed and then proceeded to skull-f*ck his son. Don’t get on your high horse about silly little teenage fantasies. There’s much more screwed up stuff out there (incest or not, as I remind myself about Voldemort and his 6 penises simultaneously raping poor Harry Potter) than two brothers getting it on. As a former moderator of a fanfic site, TRUST ME ON THIS.

Twincest is beautiful, you only wish your little sister was hot like Bill.
And ‘purselady’ is Schnee, who is fifty and is one to talk, with her story in which Bill eats sangria fruit out of a cougar’s pussy.

Okay; I write fanfictions myself at TokioHotelFiction:: not exactly slash but I do het. I think the person that wrote this article is trying to aim attention to the actual fanfiction sites.
1./ All websites DO have warnings.
2./ I think it is completely stupid to actually write this because fanfiction is fantasy and it’s just a bit of innocent fun.
3./ Tokio Hotel most likely aren’t aware of this fact and I don’t think Tom and Bill would like to think that people are writing about them in a twincest way but they wouldn’t exactly want the sites to be destroyed would they?
4./ I’m not agreeing with incest or anything but so what? If some fans want to express thier feelings and images of Bill and Tom being this way then let them!
If you don’t like it then why bother writing about it? It’s not going to change anybodys opinions. It’s just a bit of harmless fun thats not going to cause any damage. So just leave it be!

i have to say something !!!!!!! : its all boulshit!!!they are brothers and they love each other!!!!!!!!! and they arent gay!!!!that pic is painting is just lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
July 7th, 2009 at 8:00 pm
Well, as far as I know, there is a fair warning when you enter the site of more than twins. And it has a pretty disclaimer that says that that’s only their imagination and fantasies. So what? People can dream what they want. Not to say that many people who study body language at college believe bill and tom are in a more than brotherly relationship. But that’s out of question. This post was lame, and btw, Bill and Tom do know what twincest is and are aware of it, because they have several times been asked. Bill’s answer, apparently, was that people can have the fantasies they want.
July 20th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
you people don’t know how much i hate this! this is sooo totally uncool!
July 21st, 2009 at 4:14 pm
Good lord. This is ridiculous. If you don’t like it then why the hell are you looking for it? The whole point behind FanFiction is to express what could never happen. Obviously it’s not true. Hence why it’s called fiction, its fantasy. TH, especially the twins, Bill and Tom, are well aware on this matter and Bill has said people will think what they will, and fanaticize.
On all of the sites that have Twincest on them they give a warning and say it is illegal to view if under age. People who enter the sites know exactly what they are getting into.
I also believe that “More Than Twins”, the site you got the picture from, says no reposting. You took it from the artist without permission and I’m sure they will not be pleased. Be ready for angry phone calls and or emails.
August 13th, 2009 at 5:18 pm
wahwahwah; if people don’t realize what they’re gettting theirselves into, they’re idiots. if the name ‘more than twins’ and ‘twincest’ doesn’t hint to anything, idk what does. if people don’t like it, then those people need to leave.
September 8th, 2009 at 7:17 pm
You just helped promote it by adding that little clip at the end.
Counterproductive. Just saying.
September 16th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
I am actually a registered user on both, tokio hotel fanfiction and the more than twins site and they aren’t promoting illegal porn because it says, you must be 18 or older to enter this site before you can even get to the homepage. I am somewhat a fan of twincest but I don’t obsess over it. And if Tom and Bill didn’t like it, they wouldve had something done bout these sites a long time ago. And if there’s something wrong with writing fanfiction, wether it be incest or not, then pretty much that’s like saying there’s something wrong with having a fucking imagination. And to point out, the pictures and fanfictions that are made are nothing different than the actual anime pictures and fanfictions of anime boys and girls in homosexual or hetrosexual realtionships. If the creators of Naruto and Bleach, just to name a few don’t have a problem with it then I’m sure Tokio Hotel don’t either. Hell, they probably don’t care. They’re just happy to be in their fans thoughts that much as to where they’ll write a whole series about them. Oh, and my username on tokio hotel fiction is xTomxKaulitzxLuverx. Read my stuff and whoever has a problem with fanfictions and the pictures, go to hell. ^-^
September 17th, 2009 at 11:12 am
The twins know about Twincest.
Bill said in a italian newspaper last year, “no matter how crazy and bizarre someones fantasys/imagination is we all the the right to dream”
So i advise everyone to stop saying “they think its sick”
because they actually don’t care.
October 5th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
I love that site. And yeah, if they haven’t made it clear enough- no reposting.
That last bit was great. It’s so funny to see stuff like this in the news.
October 10th, 2009 at 2:15 pm
Just i would like to ask from where i have to start to answer this question. ,

“and make no attempt to warn people about the content within.”
Dude, what? Did you think ‘more than twins’ meant it was going to be a site about triplets? Are you an epic n00b to fanfiction? How about devoting some time to the illegal and debasing qualities of real porn (you know, the kind in which people are really made to do it, for money?) that you male types prefer?
