Flashback Friday Video – Shed Seven “Going For Gold”

Picking this week’s Flashback Friday Video was quite easy thanks to a conversation with a fellow British music fan the other day. Although I had been collecting 7″ singles from the York-based Shed Seven, he took it up a notch by snagging an import of the recently released The Singles Collection, of which I am personally quite jealous.

Shed Seven formed back in 1990, with original members Rick Witter, Joe Johnson (who was eventually replaced by Paul Banks) and Alan Leach. The band called it a day in 2003, but reformed in 2007 for a reunion tour. These guys could write some mighty great hits, such as “Going For Gold.” Enjoy!
