This summer music fans will have to add another outside music event to their list of places to catch bands, dehydration and sunburn. The inaugural Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival will take place August 22-24 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The co-founders of Bonnaroo are behind the idea, interestingly enough, with some of the same performers. (Sorry though, no Metallica or Pearl Jam.)
Tickets go on sale this Sunday, March 30 at 10am PST through SFOutsidelands.com, and a portion of every ticket sold will go to benefit Golden Gate Park.
