As if you didn’t need another reason to attend one of the upcoming Radiohead dates here in the US, it has now been officially confirmed that Liars will be the opening act on the band’s first leg of the tour. Of course, if you didn’t snag tickets when they went on sale a while back, get ready to pay out the ass. After hopping over to eBay this morning to check on ticket prices for the Houston date, there are bids starting at $90 (for one ticket), and “buy it now” options going clear to $1,150. Ouch.
Is it worth selling your car or taking out a second mortgage on your house to get the dough needed for Radiohead tix? Well, you’d be asking the wrong person, as I do tend to be just a tad bit obsessed with the band. If you do already have tickets, make sure you get there in time to see Liars, as they put on one hell of a great live show.
