After mentioning the upcoming El Perro Del Mar tour yesterday here on The Tripwire, we were sent a MP3 from the Swedish singer-songwriter Anna Ternheim. She is on the road with El Perro Del Mar and Lykke Li here in North America next month, supporting her US debut album, Halfway To Fivepoints. The CD will be released here on April 22, which will apparently include a stripped down cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies.”
She has been compared to the early works from Beth Orton, so we’re definitely interested in checking out this upcoming album. In the meantime, you can get a sample by downloading the free MP3 of her song “To Be Gone” below.
