Video – Camphor “Castaway”

As a kid, you might have played with toys called PLAYMOBIL. Remember those? Well, those characters have been put to good use in the new video for Camphor’s “Castaway.” The track comes from the band’s recently released album, Drawn To Dust, which is out now on Friendly Fire Recordings.

The band is led by a guy named Max Avery Lichtenstein, which some of you might recognize as the indie film composer who has worked on Tarnation, Jesus’ Son and The King. As the main songwriter of a band, he has carried those cinematic elements to their pop sound, making for quite an intriguing listen.
