La Rocca is one of those bands that we’ve been fortunate enough to develop a bit of a relationship with. After hanging out with the guys multiple times while they were on the road supporting their debut album, The Truth, we were thrilled to discover that they were recording their sophomore record here in Austin. Late last year we dropped by Mike McCarthy’s studio where the band was hard at work on the record, which has now been officially named Ok Okay. From what we were able to hear first hand, this one should put these Irish (and British) fellas on the map.
To get ready for some touring to support the summer release of Ok Okay, La Rocca has embarked on a brief west coast tour, kicking off tonight in San Diego. We’re sure that some serious coast-to-coast touring should be in full effect before too long.
