Liz Phair Plans Acoustic Show In NYC

It’s still nuts to think about the fact that it has been 15 years since the release of Liz Phair’s Exile In Guyville. The out of print album will get a June 24 re-issue release date that will include an 80 minute DVD, all courtesy of ATO Records. In honor of the occasion, Liz Phair will be playing a special show in New York City.

The day after the CD/DVD comes out, June 25, Liz Phair will perform the entire Exile In Guyville album acoustically at the Hiro Ballroom in New York City. Tickets will go on sale this coming Wednesday, and rumor has it that Chicago and San Francisco will be treated to special events like this later.

If all this Liz Phair news wasn’t enough to get your panties in a wad, Liz is currently working on a new studio album that is to be released this fall.
