We just got our hands on a very interesting remix of MGMT’s “Time To Pretend.” The song was reworked by fellow Brooklynite Jorge Elbrecht of the psych-pop band Violens. He completely alters the mood of the track, taking us on a quite a ride through several different rock subgenres, shifting from eerie electro to industrial. We should also note that MGMT is performing at Bonnaroo on June 12, Lollapalooza on August 2, and will be appearing on Conan on May 15. They will also be on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on June 9.
