Ex-Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s Percussionist Found Dead

We just got some sad news over here at camp Tripwire. Lon Paul, who played percussion on Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s The Dust Of Retreat, was found dead at the band’s studio yesterday morning. Lon Paul was in the band before current percussionist Casey Tennis. The band posted a message on MySpace which read:

Our dear friend Lon Paul, who played percussion on the dust of retreat (casey wasn’t in the band yet) was found dead at our studio today. Everyone here is in shock, and grieving the loss of a very good friend. Lon Paul was an amazing musician and an incredible person with whom we spent so much time making music with. And watching American Idol. Lon Paul has a little boy who is without a father now, and we’re asking anyone who is able, to donate a little money to a fund being setup for him. Check musicalfamilytree.com over the next few days to find a link. And please check out some of his music. Sardina is my all time favorite Indiana band.

Our thoughts are with Lon Paul’s friends and family.
