It’s pretty obvious that we are giddy over the new release from My Morning Jacket. Honestly, after their summer tour, the new stuff will probably be so awesome live that we’ll want to catch them again. If you live in New York City, you’ll have your chance, as the band will be playing a special performance at Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve.

If you are brave enough to deal with the insanity that will be going on about eight blocks north of MSG, keep reading. Tickets for the December 31 show will go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10AM through Ticketmaster. Doors will be at 8PM and the concert starts at 9PM.
