Sex Pistols Comment On New Material

Like many people out there, we are lovin’ Guitar Hero III. As a matter of fact, one of our favorite jams to play is The Sex Pistols’ “Anarchy In The UK.”

Speaking of the legendary punk group, last night they grabbed the Icon Award from MOJO over in the UK, and in an interview with BBC6, frontman John Lydon commented on rumors about new material from the band. He stated, “It’s a nice rumor and it might possibly be true we are attempting to. It’s like all things Sex Pistols – it’s riddled in chaos. You know, who knows what the future will hold, maybe no future. So far I’ve proved that wrong. I’ve got a splendid future.”

So there will possibly be new music, but then again maybe not. Nice one. In other Sex Pistols news, the guys also just wrapped up their Isle of Wight Festival jaunt on June 14, and Lydon continued the interview saying, “The Isle Of Wight was splendid fun. A weird, odd crowd but that’s alright because we cater to all types, even the middle class on holiday.”

It looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what the band has in store for us.
