We were first introduced to Chikita Violenta when they played Austin back in March. Keep checking back with us, because coming soon we will have an acoustic session with them. In the meantime, you can watch their new video for “Laydown,” which took 36 years to make. The process combined 8mm footage from 1972 (that was found in Andres Guero’s grandmother’s closet) along with present day footage. The interesting thing is that they used the same actors from the past in the present shots as well.
