Austin City Limits Festival Looking For Band Submissions

The folks that are in charge over at Austin City Limits have outdone themselves this year with the lineup that they curated. However, they aren’t done yet. They are looking for a spot that your band might be able to fill. Yes, that’s right, ACL’s The Sound and the Jury is back.

Round one online voting is going on now, and you can cast your vote on who should be added by going here. You have until August 22 to make your voice heard, so be sure to make your vote count. Round two will consist of celebrity judges, and round three will bring the polls back to the pubic. Oh yeah, and for you late bloomers out there, they are still accepting submissions until August 22. You can enter your band by going to this website.

The prizes include artist passes to ACL, a performance slot on the Dell Stage (Friday, September 26), hotel accommodations for the weekend in Austin, a Dell 15″ laptop, travel stipends and promotion on delllounge.com and aclfestival.com. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and vote for something good! Seriously, we don’t want to end up watching some lame-ass band in our hometown.
