Human Highway Makes Entire Album Available on MySpace

Moody Motorcycle, the culmination of a creative collaboration between Islands front man Nick Thorburn and acclaimed Canadian songwriter Jim Guthrie, is coming out next Tuesday on Suicide Squeeze Records. But the duo, who perform under the moniker Human Highway, have made the entire album available – track by track – on their myspace page.

The entire project was conceived over the course of one week at Guthrie’s house in downtown Toronto where the two spent the entire time both sleeping – and recording – on Jim’s living room couch. The press release says it harkens 50s/60s soul and doo-wop ala the Everly Brothers, Guthrie says it features “hot man on man vocal action” and Thorburn says it’s a great album to smoke opium to.

Well, now you can decide for yourself.
