Radiohead Is Not Famous Enough And They Didn’t Score The Choke Soundtrack

Does Thom Yorke really have that big of a chip on his shoulder that he has to rail out against a band like Kings of Leon? I mean, didn’t he get that all out of his system on The Bends?

While performing at this past weekend’s All Points West festival, Yorke reportedly complained that if Radiohead were as handsome as his US counterparts in Leon, they would have enjoyed more success. Um, hello? Last we looked Radiohead is a bit more famous than Kings of Leon and are one of the top 100 grossing bands of 2008. Was this a joke? Is there beef in the Radiohead/Kings of Leon camps? Is Thom just mad because Liam Gallagher called him and his fans “ugly and boring”?

Maybe it’s because people are giving him credit for scoring films he vehemently denies having anything to do with.

Aren’t you glad you don’t have it as rough as Radiohead?
