The track “Wucan” from Black Mountain’s second full-length album In The Future, which was recently short-listed for Canada’s prestigious Polaris Prize, is now in video form. Featuring footage of all five members of the modern heavy psych outfit performing in the desert, as you can probably imagine, it borders somewhere between a camping trip and an acid trip. Think Dazed & Confused meets The Blair Witch Project with some Film Editing 101 special effects. But before you go thinking we don’t like the video, consider it was filmed almost entirely by the band themselves and, of course, includes the killer song behind it.
