Video - The Lovely Sparrows “Year Of The Dog”

There was a nice surprise waiting in our inboxes this morning from the Austin band The Lovely Sparrows. Back in April we were able to treat you with a MP3 download of the song “Department Of Foreseeable Outcomes,” which comes from their forthcoming album Bury The Cynics. The album will be out digitally on August 19, and CD on September 9 via the Seattle-based Abandoned Love Records.

To help give us another sample off the new album, we were sent the video for the track “Year Of The Dog.” The clip was directed by Eric Power from Clear Productions, who did a brilliant job at capturing the spirit of head Sparrow Shawn Jones’ music. The Lovely Sparrows will also be playing a select few shows later this month, so check out their dates below.
