Our friends on the west coast are in luck, as the Wordless Music series has decided to offer Jonny Greenwood’s “Popcorn Superhet Receiver” as their surprise San Francisco finale. The piece was featured in their Wordless Music Orchestra concerts this past January, but it has now found its way to California, where conductor Benjamin Shwartz (resident conductor of the San Francisco Symphony) will bring Greenwood’s score to life.
The event will take place on August 21 at San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre. Tickets are on sale now through cityboxoffice.com.
