Although it has been many years since they have released an album worthy of flipping out over, there is no denying the massive impact that The Cure has had on countless bands and musicians over the past several decades. That being said, it is about time that a truly great tribute album was created for The Cure, which has finally happened.
The Los Angeles indie label Manimal Vinyl has put together Perfect As Cats: a tribute to The Cure, which will be released on October 28. Proceeds from the album will be going to the Invisible Children organization. It will include contributions from Bat For Lashes, Dandy Warhols, Kaki King, Jesu and plenty of other cool artists, all covering their favorite Cure tunes.
