Tripwire Exclusive Video – Matt & Kim Live @ (Le) Poisson Rouge | NYC

You should all know Matt & Kim’s “Yeah Yeah” by now, but do you know their version of Europe’s “The Final Countdown”?

Both are featured in this clip from their performance last night at (Le) Poisson Rouge – a show celebrating the launch of Mountain Dew’s exclusive singles label, Green Label Sound. The night featured the Brooklyn duo and Chicago’s Cool Kids, representing the label’s first two signings. While the Cool Kids single “Delivery Man” is already being hosted for free download and Matt & Kim are confirmed to the project, the Green Label website says the next two signings remain unknown yet touts them as “coming this Fall.” We’re not sure if it’s any indication, but Flosstradamus also performed last night and the “ice” half of Justice was seen milling about.

Furthering the rumors that Matt & Kim’s next record will be announced sometime soon, the group only played old cuts despite obviously having a new single coming – presumably – before the Fall announcement of the new Green Label signings. Either way, the room was packed and the show was insane. Or in Matt & Kim’s world, normal.
