Hercules, Hercules, Hercules! We’ve all heard the hype, and deservedly so, but we might not have been inclined to list these tour dates if they didn’t include shows with Mos Def, The B-52s and James Murphy.
The eight piece live band includes Andy manning keyboards, drum machines and providing backing vocals, a horn section, Kim Ann and Nomi on lead vocals, live drums, live bass with even more keyboards, and both their self-titled album and lead single, “Blind”, debuted in the UK Top 40. So I guess us lousy chaps in this hemisphere should thank our lucky stars we’re getting the rare chance to see them.
