We know Coachella and the Ultra Music Festival have already announced their line-ups, so it hardly counts as news, but we figured it was worth mentioning that the festivals will represent Roni Size’s first return to the States in nearly a decade. He will be performing both DJ gigs and with his drum and bass collective Reprazent.
It has been more than seven years since Roni Size — with or without Reprazent — has toured the U.S., but the dynamic British producer and his collective are returning to the States to perform at UMF and Coachella this Spring. Along with the Reprazent dates, Size will be performing two different DJ sets.
Last year Reprazent released a deluxe edition of 1997’s New Forms and is also preparing a new album for 2009. According to their management company, talks of touring the U.S., Australia, and Europe are also in the works.
