Organizers of Quincy, Washington’s annual extravaganza Sasquatch Music Festival have confirmed dates for 2009, adding to our already growing festival season fever.
The fest will take place again at The Gorge, Saturday May 23 through Monday May 25. That’s Memorial Day weekend for those of you keeping track of your vacation days at home.
For the first time in eight years, the festival will include a newly expanded comedy and dance tent, which will feature stand-up comedy during the day and at night will be home to electronic and dance music artists. And lots of sweaty dancing. The full line-up of bands and comedians will be announced February 17. Like the 2008 Sasquatch fest, this year’s event will again be made carbon neutral.
