No longer is it Juliette & The Licks. Juliette Lewis dropped the Licks, and is just going by her own full name in preparations for the release of her new album, which can now be previewed online.

Lewis, who is performing at SxSW in just a few weeks, is jumping on the social-networking promo tool of MySpace, and has posted four new tracks off of her upcoming album to give listeners a taste of what she has to offer. The album, which was recorded in Brooklyn and Mexico is said to offer a different sound from Lewis’ previous work with the Licks.

As well as performing her new material at SxSW, Lewis will also be playing at the San Diego Indie Fest at the end of March with the likes of Ghost and Alu. She will also be making her way to Germany in June to perform at the Rock AM Ring as well.
