MGMT announced today they’re going to be doing some giving back in Brooklyn this summer, and you, the lucky fan, get to benefit from their good will! They’ll be playing a show in Prospect Park to benefit the Celebrate Brooklyn Performing Arts Festival.

The show will be July 1, with tickets going on sale this Friday [March 13] at noon. They’re $30 each, and can be obtained a few different ways. You can take your chances with Ticketmaster by calling 800-745-3000; you can go to the Mercury Lounge box office at 217 E. Houston St. (between Ludlow and Essex); or you can head to the Music Hall of Williamsburg box office at 66 N. 6th St. (between Kent and Wythe).

Celebrate Brooklyn! is one of New York’s longest-running free, outdoor performing arts festivals.
