It’s been a while since we last saw Tricky on our shores, and as he hits the States for his longest U.S. tour in a decade, he’s looking for a few good supporting acts.
Tricky kicks off his U.S. tour tonight in Boston and according to recent reports, his UK shows featured “a true pop maverick in the top form of his career.” Now the “maverick” is offering up a unique opportunity for new bands and artists — if you’re from any one of the cities he is playing, Tricky is offering you the chance to open for him at the show (after tonight of course, starting with the Chicago show on Friday). Signed or unsigned, doesn’t matter as long as you’re “a great live act.” All you have to do is send your MySpace link and band details* here, and if you’re picked you’ll get the slot and $200.
