Deastro Reveals Artwork For Upcoming LP Moondagger

His name away from studio and stage is Randolph Chabot, and his songs are like tiny digital pop symphonies. Deastro, that kid from Detroit with a gift for experimental electro-pop, has unveiled the artwork for his highly anticipated formal debut LP, Moondagger.

Moondagger — which finds Deastro expanding things a bit and working with a full band for the first time — is set for a June 23 release on Ghostly International, and the first single, “Parallelogram”, has already been getting attention lately even though we had it on the Tripwire back in December.

    Deastro also has a 7″ out on Five Three Dial Tone Records. The B-Side, “Tree Frog,” will be on the upcoming Moondagger album, but the A-side, “Spritle,” is exclusive to the vinyl release.
