It’s barely been a month since Jack White introduced his latest musical brainchild to the world with the invitation-only live debut of The Dead Weather in Nashville, but they’re not wasting any time — they’ve got a debut single, an album in the works and they’ll be hitting New York’s Bowery Ballroom for their first live gig next week.

The Dead Weather features White on drums and vocals, The Kills singer Alison Mosshart on vocals, Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita on guitar and The Raconteurs’ Jack Lawrence on bass. The supergroup’s debut single “Hang You From the Heavens” is the first from the band’s debut album Horehound, due out in June on White’s own Third Man Records.

Their gig at Bowery goes down next Tuesday, April 14. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, and we don’t see them lasting — so get on it while the gettin’s good.
