The Sounds To Release New Album In June And Tour With No Doubt

thesounds

The Sounds have announced they will be releasing their new record, Crossing the Rubicon, at the beginning of June. The new album is the first release for the Swedish quintent since 2006’s Dying to Say This to You.

Crossing the Rubicon was recording in Sweden, New York and Los Angeles, and will be released on June 2. Taking complete control of the album, The Sounds have formed their own label, Arnioki Records, under which they planned to record and release the record. This took them through the recording process, bu the band eventually partnered with Original Signal Recordings to release the record. The new album should be a promising release for The Sounds, showcasing the growing sound (you try writing about The Sounds without using this word) they have been honing since their last release.

Throughout the past few years the Swedish band has toured non-stop, and will continue to do so for the release of the new record. Starting on April 27, the band will be touring North America, and will be joining the recently reunited No Doubt on the road, starting in mid-May.
