Conor Oberst And Jenny Lewis To Play Free River To River Show In NYC

In this economy, we’d never say no to free music. But good free music? Is it our birthday? Conor Oberst, his Mystic Valley Band and Jenny Lewis will all be jamming for free at this year’s River To River festival in NYC.

Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band are set to headline this year’s festival, and Jenny Lewis will open the night. The concert is on July 4. This year instead of getting tickets in advance, the event will not be ticketed and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Translation: if you want to be in sweat-droplet distance you’ll need to be prepared to camp out a few days in advance.

The concert takes place again at Battery Park. Head here for more info.
