Today’s news for the weird (and terminally attention-starved) comes to us from 80s one-hit-wonder Marilyn (Peter Robinson) who has professed to In Touch Magazine that former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale was “the love of his life.” So that would make Gavin — but wait, he’s married, right?

According to Marilyn, who also had a fling with Boy George, it was “a long standing affair” between he and Rossdale. They used to party in London’s nightclubs together. He gave photos to the magazine of he and Rossdale together, which are in the latest issue on newsstands now.

Former lover Boy George apparently exposed all this already back in 1995 in his book Take It Like A Man, but at the time both Marilyn and Gavin denied it and nobody believed much of anything Boy George said, anyway. Marilyn said he and Rossdale were an item for five years, “but it felt like 40″ and of course that Rossdale was “the love of his life.”

Can’t help but wonder what’s more unsettling for Gwen Stefani — her husband’s alleged affair with a man, or the fact that InTouch suggests she looks like Marilyn.
