The unfortunate combination of high altitude and the common cold forced The Kills to cut their show in Boulder, Colo., short last night as singer Alison Mosshart had to be taken to the hospital.
She started experiencing shortness of breath during the set, but after brief observation at the hospital, she was released. She is feeling fine and will be all set to continue the rest of the Kills’ North American tour, running through the end of next month.
The Boulder date won’t be rescheduled, but the audience didn’t miss too much — according to Merry Swankster, they made it through all but four songs of their planned set.
