Hot Chip Plays “Over And Over” With The Homeless

Earlier this week we told you that Hot Chip plans to release a new album in early 2010. But right now the band is focusing on some charity work, including making a video for “Over and Over” featuring members of the Skylight homeless program.

The video, which is full of zany dancing and gang vocals, was made in support of the Skylight charity, and Hot Chip will also be performing a hidden gig in aid of the homeless charity Crisis, on May 5. The show is just one of a series for the charity, and among the list of performers are The Bluetones, Bombay Bicycle Club, and The Pipettes.

If you want to catch the show you’ll have to wait. The organizers of the event are not disclosing the location for the gigs until the last minute. We applaud the boys of Hot Chip for putting their talents to good work, and hey, we can’t deny that the video they made looked like a lot of fun.
