Village Voice Announces 2009 Siren Fest Line-Up, Featuring Built to Spill, Raveonettes + More

See some good bands for free and potentially get talked into riding the Cyclone? We’re in. The Village Voice announced today the initial line-up for its ninth annual Siren Music Festival, going down as always at historic Coney Island and this year featuring Built to Spill, The Raveonettes and more.

The festivities take place Saturday, July 18 from noon to 9 p.m. on two stages at Coney Island. Built to Spill, The Raveonettes, Frightened Rabbit, Grand Duchy, Monotix and Micachu & The Shapes will perform, plus more bands to be announced in the weeks leading up to the fest.
