Little did we know when we saw Paul McCartney at Coachella a few weeks ago that Scottish bombshell Shirley Manson was in the audience, too. But according to what she told fellow Scot Craig Ferguson Tuesday night, she was having a little trouble concentrating on the legendary Beatle. Because, naturally, she couldn’t stop thinking about Angela Lansbury. Wait, what?
Apparently a while back Craig told Shirley that he thought McCartney bore a striking resemblance to the “Murder She Wrote” star. And really? We won’t put up too much of a fight here. Maybe not young Paul McCartney, but older, kind of jowel-y Paul McCartney? Yeah, sure. We’ll bite. So it seems that while Shirley wanted to be awed by the fact that she was staring up at a Beatle, all she could think was that she was staring into the strangely masculine doppelganger of Angela Lansbury.

At least once a week Craig says: Do we have a picture of Paau McCartney and they show the picture of Angela Lansbury……..Everyone who has ever watched Craig know that this is one of his brand jokes

Yes, and a very tasteless brand joke of Craig’s! Angela Lansbury is such a class Act that it makes his show look even sillier than normal! I can’t see the humor in cutting down an 84 year old Actress!! Mr. Ferguson doesn’t look very young himself….I keep asking myself how long it will be till his Picture is being held up and laughed at?
