Clutch Announces Release Date And Tour For Ninth Studio Album

It’s been two years since From Beale Street to Oblivion, and Clutch is finally ready to release some brand new music into the world for the first time since 2007. will be the band’s ninth studio album, set to be out digitally and physically July 7.

The album was produced by the band and J. Robbins at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore. It’s the first Clutch original to be released on the band’s imprint, Weathermaker Music. The first single and its video, “50,000 Unstoppable Watts”, will hit the streets soon — before Memorial Day weekend we’re told.

In the meantime the band is planning a massive tour of the U.S. and Europe, with more plans for fall festivals in the works. Check out the track listing for Strange Cousin and upcoming tour stops below.
