I’ve been lucky enough to have never gone to a show where the headlining artist did not play a full set due to technical difficulties. I still haven’t. But these people were there to see Junior Boys call it an early night.
Apparently, after a half-hour of trying to correct the “technical difficulties” they gave up, told everyone to keep their tickets, and promised to return. Considering the fact that this band is quite popular and don’t play huge American markets like New York that often, you would think the Junior Boys would’ve prepared for such issues. And as the Village Voice points out, a rescheduled date is most likely in the far, far future.
