Duff McKagan Takes Over The Village Voice

Former Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver bass player brings his new band, Loaded, to New York next week for their city debut. So Duff wrote a guest editorial for the Village Voice to share some of his New York experiences. As funny as it sounds — and as self-promoting as it is — it’s actually a pretty interesting read.

By way of introduction, my name is Duff McKagan and I, for most of my life, have played rock n’ roll music. New York City has always been a place that the bands I have been in have thrived.
