Little kidlets around the world can now read about the adventures of a fluffy bunny while their parents can flex their indie rock creds in the face of other parents at day care. Ex-Guided By Voices ensembleman Tobin Sprout is releasing his first children’s book next month, entitled Elliott.

The musician, who has a background in painting, helped both scribe and illustrate the children’s book, which chronicles the story of a rabbit hero of the same name navigating through a “dreamy, magical world.”
