The Beastie Boys revealed new album details — like the title (Hot Sauce Committee) — on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Monday, throwing in a performance of “So What’cha Want” just because. But that’s not the only Beasties-related story making its way through the Interweb today.
According to the East Hampton Star [via The Daily Swarm], the Surf Lodge in Montauk, NY was “slapped” with a $1,000 fine after the East Hampton Town Fire Marshall’s came across six tee pees that had been erected there over the holiday weekend. The tee pees were part of a contest set to raise funds for the Montauk Skate Park, a nearby skateboarding ground in need of some renovation. Included amongst the list of fined contestants? Mr. Mike Diamond aka Mike D. For shame.
