Dear Hip-Hop Press, Please Stop Interviewing Spencer Pratt

Chatter surrounding Spencer Pratt’s nascent rap career seems to be increasing in volume. After Complex got a minute with the Hills star and celebrity stain last week, XXL followed-up to try and make sense of all the hot air.

In an interview posted yesterday, Pratt listed Asher Roth as major influence/inspiration and spat more ill-conceived manifesto than verses. When asked to provide the latter, S. Pratt/Prat Daddy/Great White’s response made for an apocalyptic sound byte: “I mean my verses are real simple, I get money. I get paid all day, you know I’m on TV and I love life, you know, I got my fly wife and I kick back and get money. It’s not about rhyming lyrical this, it’s just about swag and that’s all I’ma be doing on tracks, just talking about really how paid I’m getting cause it’s ridiculousness.”

They’re calling dude the future of hip-hop.
