damn right they didnt do it for their “musician brothers and sisters” they did it for the fans. too bad for you if you cant sell as well as radiohead. play better/more important music and you will.

success in the music business is not “whats good for the goose is good for the gander” politics. every fucking band for themselves and radiohead is smart when it comes to how they want their fans to perceive/appreciate them.

the only bands who can really whine about this are indie bands with a fraction of the success that kim deal and sonic youth have had. poor kim deal, not being able to choose all the options on her brand new cars….
