Jeff Buckley Biopic Back On Radar, Cause for Heartthrob Convention

Brad Pitt tried to spearhead a Jeff Buckley biopic a few years back, only to give up on the project after things went South with the script. But The Playlist is reporting that a second attempt at putting the bard’s life to celluloid is in the works again, with James Franco, James Marsden and that sexy devil Robert Pattinson reportedly expressing serious interest in the role. Considering just how much Franco looks like Buckley on the cover of the latter’s ‘94 touchstone, Grace, it seems like that dude would be the obvious choice. But then again, can you imagine how many sexually-repressed, vampire-obsessed tweeners might storm stores in search of Buckley’s music if Pattinson steamed up the screen instead. OH, THE POSSIBILITIES.

Broodfest 2010. Be there.

Please please God, dont let this go ahead! I would hate jeff’s music to be branded as the next cool thing to be into – he would have hated that. Robert pattison would ruin it.
