June 7th Now Julie Doiron Day…

In the town of Bruno, Saskatchewan, June 7th will now be observed as Julie Doiron day. Doiron, Canadian indie rock deity of Eric’s Trip fame, was in attendance for the unveiling in Bruno, a town several thousand miles away from her native New Brunswick. A representative from Doiron’s label, Jagjaguwar, told Tripwire: “I think they just really like her!” So do we! Check out Doiron’s recent performance on Fader TV’s Open Bar.
