Klaxons fans will have to wait even longer than expected for the release of the band’s sophomore album. Though they have 28 songs written already, band member Jamie Reynolds says they aren’t even close to constructing a cohesive album and are still looking for a producer. About the delay, Reynolds says, “We’d really like to put out the first great record of the 2010s rather than the last great one of this decade. Now that’s become an aspiration and a goal.” He also encourages anyone who makes records to “give [them] a bell.” That means call them. (via Gigwise)

How pretentious. A band that’s written almost 30 songs, had their album rejected by their label, and can’t get their sh*t together, have the nerve to talk about creating a great album. Best of luck guys. Could it be that your 15 minutes went by that quick?
