Pearl Jam Hit the Road

Despite the fact that at least one of us here at The Tripwire were, let’s just say underwhelmed by the debut track Pearl Jam played on Coco O’Brien’s first day hosting The Tonight Show, there’s still much love (however closeted it may sometimes be, ahem*editor) for those pioneers of grunge. Hell, I once dated a girl in college because she was from the same high school that the kid in “Jeremy” was based on.  But on a far less morbid note, the dudes in PJ have announced some dates in which they’d like to pleasure your ears in support of their newest LP, Backspacer, due out September 20th.

They’ll be starting things off with a few festival dates before hitting Washington and four (yeah FOUR) days at Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre, with a stop over in Austin for the newly October-ized Austin City Limits Festival in between. All dates, besides presumably the festivals, will be supported by Ben Harper and Relentless7 save for the final PA dates.
